Les mourrels : A succession of layers of sandstone, limestone and marl; the result is a series of edges with scrubland on the top dividing depressions with slopes (sometimes steep) where grows the vineyard.

This area is one of the hottest in Minervois.

The vineyard takes place in this méditerranean landscape when the soil is deep enough to be cultivated.
